We want to provide a brief update and clarification on what we mean when we refer to certain products as OFF THE SHELF, as there has been some understandable confusion.
OFF THE SHELF items are products that are ready to ship and do not require in-house electronic assembly. These include parts kits, cap kits, VTEC kits, chips, sockets, adapters, and similar items that do not contain electronic surface-mount components.
In contrast, products that we manufacture here in the USA are not considered OFF THE SHELF items. This includes burners, Hlog, ALDL, BNWSST, RM11 replacements, socket boosters, TunerLync, BoostedNW PnP ECUs, and any other products that rely on our pick-and-place machine to install surface-mount components.
These products require additional assembly, programming, and testing steps before they can ship. Because of this, their availability and lead times are directly affected by production capacity and equipment status.
Please refer to our previous updates for detailed information regarding pick-and-place downtime, production timelines, and current repair status, as those factors continue to impact these items.
With that being said, as per other recent updates, the pick and place has been repaired and operational again. Now just working through the backlog of orders that need to be manufactured and we will be back on track. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we are not a massive corporation, and also not a dirt cheap junk china manufacturer. Things take time on small scale when there are issues!
