It’s been 18 days since the last update about the pick-and-place machine downtime, and the plot has thickened. The replacement parts that were supposed to cruise in smoothly hit the holiday freight wall — Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday all stacked together — and the tracking now shows a delivery estimate of December 5, 2025. Those seas definitely weren’t calm.
A Big Shipping Push Today
Even with the machine down, today was a huge day. We pushed out a massive batch of orders from the Black Friday/Cyber Monday rush — a mix of older queue items we finished by hand and newer ready-to-ship products that were already staged and packed.

We’re doing everything possible to keep the flow moving so that every customer sees progress even while the machine parts are making their slow holiday migration across the planet.
What’s Happening While We Wait
We’re still hand-placing smaller, lower-component boards to keep that side of the queue alive. It’s slower, more tedious, and nowhere near the speed of the full PnP machine, but it keeps orders moving and prevents a total freeze on production.
All items that don’t rely on our in-house manufactured boards — chips, chipping kits, VTEC kits, plug-and-play units built on existing stock, and other off-the-shelf parts — are shipping daily with no delays.
What’s Coming Next
Once the parts land on 12/5, the machine gets rebuilt immediately and production speed jumps back to normal. As soon as it’s online, we’re clearing the remaining queue with every hour the day gives us.
Thanks again for riding this wave with us. Holiday shipping chaos may slow the supply chain, but it hasn’t slowed us down from doing everything we can to stay the most reliable source for OBD1 Honda ECU services and tuning tools.
