We’ve previously shared updates about current order delays, and we want to take a moment to expand on one of the key reasons behind some of the the recent order delays.
Our automated pick and place machine, which is essential for assembling circuit boards, experienced a critical failure and has been out of service. This machine handles the precise placement of tiny electronic components, and without it, we’ve been forced to assemble all circuit boards by hand…placing each tiny component with tweezers—a process that is significantly slower and far less efficient.
This issue has caused a major bottleneck in our production timeline, especially for any products that include PCBs (printed circuit boards). We understand how frustrating delays can be, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through this.
đź’ˇ The good news:
- Replacement parts for the machine are scheduled to arrive next week.
- We’ve also placed an order for a second pick and place machine, which will help prevent this kind of disruption in the future and allow us to double our production speed going forward.
We’re committed to getting all orders out as fast as possible, and we’re investing in the tools needed to make that happen reliably.
🙏 Thank you for sticking with us during this hiccup. We’re excited for what’s ahead and will keep pushing forward.
